The steute Technologies business division "Controltec" will be presenting itself and its Industrial Wireless switchgear at the Hannover Fair 2024 in fitting surroundings – the "Industrial Wireless Arena + 5G Networks & Applications" section in Hall 14, Booth H06/39 (joint VDMA booth).
True to the motto "robust industrial switchgear combined with smart wireless technology", steute will demonstrate wireless switchgear designed especially for industrial applications. This is valid for the "hardware" of the switchgear and sensors, as well as the wireless system, a crucial criterion. Because in industrial applications there are disturbances and radiation from other wireless signals, the requirements regarding availability and transmission speed are very high. Furthermore, the demands on mechanical characteristics and lifetime require a very robust design adapted to the conditions of operation.
With its range of Industrial Wireless switchgear, steute meets these requirements. At its core are switches and sensors which function reliably and durably, even in rough and extreme ambient conditions. Integrated or separate radio modules which communicate with the corresponding receiver via the wireless system sWave, also developed by steute, make them suitable for radio transmission.
The steute Industrial Wireless range includes multiple series of electromechanical position switches, as well as foot switches, non-contact inductive sensors and optical sensors. The sWave-based wireless technology has been tried and tested in many different industrial application fields and is now well established.
