steute Controltec offers a wide range of explosion-proof magnetic sensors, which are an ideal substitute for mechanical limit switches in extreme operating conditions. Our Ex magnetic sensors feature a metal enclosure (brass or stainless steel), and a switching distance up to 30 mm. Suitable for use in hazardous areas and explosion zones including Zone 1 (areas with hazardous gas, vapors, or mists) and Zone 21 (areas with hazardous powder or dust), with versions available for extreme cold resistance (down to -60°C), maritime certification, and Zones 2 and 22.
